Kojic acid helps reduce the look of dark spots, tan and uneven skin tone over time by slowing down new pigment. Most people notice a brighter look after 4 to 8 weeks of daily use with sunscreen.
How do I use kojic acid soap?
Lather on damp skin, leave for 30 to 60 seconds, rinse, then moisturize. Start once a day, patch test first, and always use sunscreen in the morning.
Can I use kojic acid soap every day?
Yes, once your skin is used to it. Start with once a day at night. If you feel dryness or stinging, use it every other day and moisturize well.
Which soap is best for oily or acne-prone skin?
Tea tree and salicylic acid soaps are good choices for oily, breakout-prone skin. Use twice a day and follow with an oil-free moisturizer.
Can I use a face serum with herbal soap?
Yes. Cleanse with the soap, pat dry, apply 2 to 3 drops of serum, then moisturizer. Niacinamide pairs especially well with kojic acid soap.
